Blarney Castle Day Tour from Dublin Including Rock of Cashel & Cork City
Brian was our tour guide and he was fantastic. The stops we made were perfect. He was very knowledgeable and had lots of history and stories to tell. He even sang us a song which we loved. I would do this tour again and when we come back we will most definitely be booking a tour with Paddywagon tours. Buses were clean and comfortable. Being able to sit and see the countryside go by while listening to history was worth every cent.

Private Tour of Blarney Castle, Cork City and Kinsale
Wonderful guide who knows his stuff. Our guide was excellent. In particular we had some historical spots off the beaten path we were interested in and he was so flexible and willing to reroute and get us to the places we wanted and even suggested others. Will definitely be back!

Blarney Castle Day Tour from Dublin Including Rock of Cashel & Cork City
Our unbelievably good looking and entertaining driver Cash was a hell hell of a tour guide. When my feet got sore he tamed a wild pony and made it carry me all the way up to the rock of cashel. Thank you Cash, your friends from Austria will never forget!

Maurice was a terrific guide! He is so informative and we learned so much. He is a wealth of knowledge. He modified our tour to our preferences once he got to know us and we couldn’t have loved the day more. We would highly recommend him for your tour!

Blarney Castle Tour from Cork including Cobh
Great driver, informative & funny. The tour started early enough to avoid the queues at Blarney Castle, without being crack of dawn. The Castle gardens are also worth a walk around. Also, the trip to Cobh was a lovely additional part to the tour. Timings in each place were perfect and we weren’t home too late, like some tours you feel you’re just travelling around for hours, but this one was perfectly timed.

The Cahir castle was my absolute favorite - it was nice seeing the history of the sites. My only complaint is ac on bus was faulty and the ride was hot and uncomfortable. Aubrey the tour guide was apologetic and kept us entertained!

Things to Know Before You Go

  • Come prepared with layers for Ireland's famously unpredictable weather.

  • Prepare to wait in line if you’d like to kiss the stone.

  • Stone kissing is best suited for those who are able-bodied, as the line winds up steep staircases to the castle’s top.

Exploring Cork City

A Cork day trip often includes time in the city as well as a visit to Blarney Castle. Stroll down St. Patrick Street and stop for lunch at the English Market, which hosted a visit from Queen Elizabeth II of England in 2011, or do some tax-free souvenir shopping at Blarney Woollen Mill. The Irish countryside throughout County Cork is picturesque and makes for a lovely drive.
