The Basics

Red Rock Canyon, with its large formations of red rocks and ample outdoor activities, sits a world away from Las Vegas, despite being visible from the city. Rock climbers come to conquer the 3,000-foot (914-meter) red sandstone walls of Keystone Thrust, while mountain bikers find optimal conditions on the Mustang Trail. Some of the best views of the American Southwest landscape come from the Red Rock Canyon Overlook, a 13-mile scenic loop through the park that gives visitors a look at the Mojave Desert scenery from the comfort of a car or bicycle. Tour options are plentiful—horseback rides, guided hikes, electric bike rides, Segway, and scooter tours, or even a romantic hot air balloon ride.

Red Rock Canyon and Seven Magic Mountains Tour with Private Option
I loved this tour very much. Highly recommend. First, on time arrival at hotel pick-up. There were snacks available. Due to COVID, the tour operator made sure there were few guests. Everyone wore masks and hand sanitizer was provided. The ride to these locations were smooth and without fault. Everything was great. Thank you so much for providing pick-up, drop off, and amazing views of Red Rock Canyon.

Red Rock Canyon Hiking Tour
People talk about the colors of Vegas but now that I have seen the sun hit Red Rock Canyon I know what they mean. Hardest part was picking which trail as I wanted to do all 3. Will be coming back to complete the journey. Our guide Chris was attentive And took us on a challenging trail and climb. He also gave us a geology lesson and educated us on native plants and animals. Safety was a priority (staff are vaccinated and wear masks in close quarters) great experience

Red Rock Canyon Electric Bike Half-Day Tour
While the beauty of the Red Rock Canyon was the highlight, we also learned of the geological history and the local history of the area. John and Allison presented an amazing tour. The ebikes were sooooo fun. My wife and I are over 60. The bikes were user friendly and the focus on safety was appreciated. If you get a chance try this tour. You won’t regret it.

Red Rock Canyon Electric Bike Half-Day Tour
Beautiful ride through Red Rock Canyon!! We were new to e-bikes, but John was very patient and provided great instruction and reassurance. There were several stops along the route to view the amazing scenery and learn about the history, rock formations, and vegetation. Highly recommend this fun tour!

Red Rock Canyon Tour w/Private Option (2-6 people)
We booked a private tour to Red Rock Canyon. Darin was a wonderful guide, we couldn't have asked for better. From pickup at our hotel through a great, unhurried, tour with a knowledgeable guide to drop-off at our hotel, it was a perfect morning. I wouldn't hesitate to book a different tour next time we're in town.

Scooter Car Tour of Red Rock Canyon with Transport from Las Vegas
Awesome ride from their parking lot to Red Rock Canyon. Johnny and Leo were great tour guides and took us to many stops along the way. It was such a fun way to do a tour of the park. They picked us up at our hotel on time and got us back right when they told us we would be back. I will definitely do it again and will recommend it to friends!

Red Rock Canyon Self-Guided Electric Bike Tour
Had a great biking experience at Red Rock Canyon!! The communication before was spot on and the actual biking was awesome!! We've never used electric bikes before - they make bicycles up and down the mountains a lot of fun for us. Much more enjoyable way to see the canyon that a quick car drive through. Definitely a must-do if you are in the Las Vegas area. I would definitely recommend this trip and will be doing it again when we come back.

Scooter Tours of Red Rock Canyon
What an amazing trip! Steve and Clay were our hosts and the entire experience could not have been better. We were picked up on time and it was a short ride to the canyon. Safety is a great concern and they take their time to teach you how to ride the Scooter. If you can ride a bike you can ride the Scooter. Red Rock Canyon is beautiful, and this was the BEST way to discover it. Water was provided and the Scooters have storage for your belongings.

Valley of Fire and Red Rock Canyon Day Tour from Las Vegas
The tour guide who worked on 1/13 was super friendly and professional (sorry I forgot his name). The vehicle was clean. We stopped at various places in the 2 parks and they were amazing! The tour guide was knowledgeable. He provided some stories and background for places that we visited. JNS tour is the only company that offers 2 valleys of fire and red rock in one day. I'd recommend you guys to buy this tour to save $ and time. I'd use the JNS tour for my future trip. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Red Rock Canyon and Seven Magic Mountains Tour with Private Option
A very good morning spent with a very safe and polite driver/tour guide by the name of Victor, who didn't let the cold damp rain (yes it rain in the desert) dampen our morning. A snack and bottles of water were provided and our transportation was very clean. Overall I very well organised trip.

Scooter Tours of Red Rock Canyon
We all LOVED our scooter tour! Justin and Clay were both amazing, friendly, and knowledgeable. Having never driven a scooter before, I was a little worried. Thankfully, safety is VERY IMPORTANT and there was a "how to" lesson before we started... and we didn't start the tour until everyone was competent. So please get off the Strip and see the natural beauty that surrounds Vegas. You will love it

Things to See In and Around Red Rock Canyon

Because the Red Rock National Conservation Area covers such a sizable swathe of desert, it's home to many worthy natural attractions. The Calico Hills are one of the park's most famous sites, accessible via a moderate hiking trail. Visitors will find old agave roasting pits from Native American history along the Calico Tanks Trail, while Willow Springs boasts petroglyphs. Spring Mountain Ranch State Park, situated adjacent to Red Rock Canyon, was once a working ranch owned by millionaire Howard Hughes.
