Great guided hike!

There were only 2 of us on our hike so it turned out to be a private tour. Our guide suggested a hike up Stanley Glacier in Kootney Park just inside the BC border. It was a good hike for those that can manage and took about 2 hrs to reach the end of the path. We had a fantastic lunch on the mountainside (provided by our guide) and learned quite a bit about the local geology as well as the flora and fauna. We enjoyed ourselves and were absolutely beat after but in a good way! Highly recommended!
A great hiking experience.

This was an amazing experience. Rob was a great and fun company. He was very knowledgeable and lots of energy. It was during a hot day so early morning Stanley glacier hike was definitely a good choice. Due to recently partially lifted pandemic restrictions, most places were not that busy - which was a great thing. We finished our hike quick, being a small group, and Rob was kind enough and took us on another short but beautiful hike nearby to Marble Canyon. Overall great experience and highly recommended.

We had a fantastic day! Our guide Matt was friendly and knowledgeable! The weather went from hot and muggy to rainy and cold so be prepared. Lol I grew up here and I had forgotten how quickly things can change in the mountains! We definitely will go on another adventure. Breath taking beauty. Home:) ❤️

Awesome guided tour from Pete through Lake Louise and Plain of Six Glaciers! Definitely provided so much knowledge about Canadian history / landscape evolution, as well as personal stories and recommendations for our trip. Great overall tour group, and he did a good job of getting the group chatting and getting to know one another. One of the highlights of our trip! The recs he provided also allowed my friend and I to enjoy other restaurants, and day time hiking activities that we may not have otherwise tried. 10/10 recommend!!

The hike was great but the forest was ordinary. A regular forest juts like we know them. Don't expect to see blue water or amazing rivers. It was a normal forest with great trees and vegetation. The guide a girl for once XD was really nice and informative. It wasn't what i expected but still, it was nice.

Lake Louise is spectacular, but it can be really busy so getting there without driving is one of the big advantages of a tour traffic and parking can be a hassle. I appreciated that I was able to book this guided hike less than 24 hours in advance even though they ask for more notice on their website. Our guide, Edward, was patient, encouraging it's just around the corner...you are doing great, and knowledgeable. On the drive out to Lake Louise from Banff, he told us a lot about the area which was really interesting. We had different levels of experience within our group a total of 7 - many of us did not know each other, but that was never a problem. Even though this hike is very popular and can get really busy, especially in the summer, I still highly recommend it.

We perform checks on reviews
You can only submit a review or rating of an experience to Viator if you were the person who made the booking through Viator. Before publication, each review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information for each of the following criteria: who, what, how, and when. If the system detects something that contradicts our publication criteria, the review is not published. When the system detects a problem with a review, it may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site. In some cases, we will also send you an email asking you to validate your review before it is published. All you need to do is click on the link provided in the email. After publication, our team checks each review reported to it as not meeting our publication criteria. Tripadvisor reviews that appear on the Viator site are subject to the same checks and moderation processes as set out above. It is not necessary to have booked an experience through Viator (or Tripadvisor) to submit a review of an experience to the Tripadvisor site.

Sorting, ranking, and search results
Viator wants to make your searches as relevant as possible. That’s why we offer many ways to help you find the right experiences for you.
On some pages, you can select how to sort the results we display and also use filter options to see only those search results that meet your chosen preferences. You’ll see explanations of what those sort options mean when you select them.
You’ll see some experiences with a “Promoted” badge, which means that the operators of those experiences have agreed to pay Viator more to have their experience highlighted.
If you see an Experience Award Winner label, the award is based on average review ratings, share of bookings with a review, and number of bookings through Viator over a 12-month period.
The importance of any one factor over any other in a sort order varies, and the balance is constantly being reviewed and adjusted. We’re always updating our systems and testing new ways to refine and improve your results to make them as relevant as possible to meet your needs.
