From your hotel in Cancun, you’re picked up in the morning for the drive to Chichen Itza, considered the most important archaeological zone in the Yucatán.

Start your tour of significant locations at the UNESCO World Heritage Site, including the ball court, el Castillo (the Castle), the Pyramid of Kukulkan and Temple of the Warriors. Learn from your certified guide why the extraordinary architectural beauty and geographical location have led to Chichen Itza's designation as one of the New7Wonders of the World.

Then, stop to explore the natural wonders of a nearby cenote. Play in the deep, aquamarine waters of an underground swimming hole formed from a collapsed limestone cavern.

Head to a local restaurant for a buffet lunch of fresh salads, soups, rice, meat, chicken, fish, vegetables and other regional fare (drinks at own expense).

Stop in the “magic town” of Valladolid on the way back to Cancun for a brief tour of its town center.

Your Chichen Itza full-day tour ends with return transport to your Cancun hotel.

My first time in Cancun :)

This was my first time visiting and I had a wonderful time! The tour guides were both equally entertaining and knowledgeable throughout the whole trip. Some tips I can give you is to bring plenty of water bottles, cash, towels if you plan on swimming in the Cenote, and some little snacks for the drive. You can fuel up plenty during the lunch buffet but keep in mind that if you purchase the basic package, you’ll have to buy your own beverages during lunch. 50 pesos for beer and 40 for water. The only thing I disliked is the van. It felt a little too tight for me and was a bit uncomfortable. I’m 6’1” 185lbs and my knees were starting to hurt after a bit. Other than this, I had an incredible time.

Experiencing True Mexico

Great experience with a comedic tour guide to make the long rides a little more enjoyable. Definitely worth the trip to see the historical monuments, learn about another, and take a refreshing dive in the cenote water hole. They have made accommodations to limit the amount of people per trip due to COVID so it makes it a more personal experience. The one issue is no WiFi on the bus but besides that great experience

This was the most amazing trip! Had an awesome time at all of our stops, always on time - you could definitely tell they are passionate about Chichén Itzá it’s history and their community. If you want to give back to the area you are visiting I would definitely recommend this tour. Make sure you take lots of sunscreen, sunglasses and an umbrella or shady hat and very comfortable shoes + cash/pesos!

Take this tour !

I give this a 4.5. The food was great, transportation was excellent, comfortable and the guides were fun and amazing! The stop to Mayan village for lunch was good , however I felt it was primarily geared toward buying their souvenirs, churches itza was amazing. Be prepared there are vendors who will be trying to sell to you non-stop but you are warned before hand no to buy from them which helped. The cenote was a nice stop and the the trip to vallodid could have been cut it was pointless. Overall a great day!

Long day - half worth it

Loooooooong day! 13hrs or so. The Tour guide was sweet but this tour is not really for English speakers only. The tour guide would speak a word or 2 in Spanish and then a word or 2 n English. Doing that, made it really difficult to follow the history or instructions he was conveying. When he would stop speaking you’d see all the non Spanish speakers looking around, a bit confused, asking bi-lingual folks to translate for them/us. Take extra money for the Chichen Itza tax (about 25 usd), the lockers, the life vest and drinks at the buffet. They will stop at a Mayan shopping center and will persuade you to buy there rather than the vendors at chichen itza, which is fine but be aware there are no price tags on any items therefore you will get hustled if you don’t know peso amounts or aren’t aware of average pricing for your items. Chichen Itza was amazing, just be sure to bring a hat and tins of son block. The Cenote was nice but not the most entertaining we visited. Once at the hotel no more than 1 minute after being dropped off, we realized we left a custom made Mayan map on our seat. We called the numbers provided immediately and said we can meet anywhere to pick it up or tip heavy if they can drop it off at our hotel. They said they’d look for it and call me back. They never called back. I called 2 more times and they assured me they’d check and call back... they never called back. Pretty crappy of them, especially since we tipped huge at the end of our tour.

Thank you very much for your comments we really glad you enjoyed the tour. We do provide bilingual information in most of the tours we do apologize if this was confusing for you, all the purchase recommendations are optional. as you mention we suggest verifying the price before paying. Regarding the Mayan map, we really tried to help you to find it, however, this was not found on the bus to delivered to your hotel.

A day full of history

Juan, our tour guide, was a lot of fun. Felt safe the whole day with him and our driver. Chichen-Itza was so cool and the history was very interesting. The day is long so by the time we got the Valladolid, we only walked around for a few minutes. The Cenote was awe-inspiring; so amazing that these are found all over the place here.
