Interesting informative tour. My only negative was that meeting spot not listed on Viator ticket . We were told when we rang the office to meet at a spot on the esplanade road. Meeting point was actually on Doctors Gully Rd .

This was a great tour around Darwin with a knowledgeable and humorous guide who told us a lot of facts and figures about Darwin during WWII and in particular the bombing of Darwin. He has clearly done a lot of his own research and has a passion for this topic. The harbour cruise was a great addition to the “on land” tour, and again, a knowledgeable guide gave us a lot of fact and figures and stories. The visit to the museum was also interesting with so much “stuff” to see and read about. The tour did not take in the fuel storage tunnels but did give us background knowledge for when we did visit the tunnels later. We did this tour on the first day of our stay in Darwin and it helped us to become orientated with Darwin’s layout and points of interest. A most enjoyable, interesting and informative morning.

Very good

The tour was very good and informative and Rob was a good, knowledgeable guide. My only disappointment was there was no tour or even a mention of the oil storage tunnels which I think is an integral part of the WW2 history of Darwin and well worth a visit. Thanks Brad from QLD

Hi Brad, thanks for the review. Unfortunately we only have 4.5 hours on this tour to fit as much of Darwin’s WW2 history in as possible. There are too Darwin war history attractions that are not included because of time limitations, like the Aviation Museum and the tunnels. Luckily the location of the tunnels at the waterfront make them easily accessible for those who also have time to explore on their own.

Very enjoyable trip. Particularly enjoyed the boat ride. Would be better if more time was available at the Military Museum.

Hi Matt, thanks for your review. It is hard trying to get the balance right when we only have 4.5 hours with so much WW2 history in Darwin. We take your comment about the Military Museum on board, it is a very special place.

Hi Nellie, yes our crew do shine! They are passionate about Darwin's war history and we agree that this dark hour of Australia's history should be taught in schools.
