Time of our lives. Turtles beautiful
Laura_W

The entire day was amazing. We swam with turtles and Experience the turquoise waters of flamingo beach. Our guides Esraphanie, Louis and. Carlos were well educated well spoken instructive and fob. They handled a fairy scheduling crisis with Grace and kept the group happy and entertained. We had never snorkeled before and the experience was so much better than I had hoped for
A must see!

John and Luis were great. They are very informative and experienced with this type of activity. Even if you are new to the activity they are very helpful and patient. I got to see the sea turtles, sting rays, and the beautiful coral reefs. Also, seen some fish that came out of Finding Nemo. Definitely a good time and worth your money!

The guides Elliott estafania and Jon were excellent!
The ferry ride back was great but getting there was rough since we were out in the smaller cargo ferry with no outdoor seating
Sadly the tour guides camera was lost but I k ow that is not her fault. We hope it is recovered so we can see pic from the special day we had
Thanks!

We had an amazing experience thanks to wonderful guides! John and Luisa made my first time snorkeling a positive experience. They helped each of us have an unforgettable experience. I loved hearing about the island on the way over to the kayaks. We got to swim with the turtles and see lots of coral and other sea life. Our guides were so knowledgeable and were attentive to the needs and desires of the group. Best trip ever!

Overall it was a good trip, although the universe didn’t want me living my best life. First off, I was already feeling uneasy bc there was rip current in the area. But that didn’t stop the trip from happening. The ferry ride from Culebra was a mess. A third of the people on the boat threw up bc the weather was so bad and it had the boat violently rocking back and forth the entire way. The way back was 100x better bc we were going in the direction of the wind. Our tour guides were so nice and asked everyone about 100 times if we felt sick once off the ferry. They offered us snacks and water. Kayaking was amazing, snorkeling was great, the turtles and wildlife made it a trip to remember. Our tour guides explained everything clearly and made us feel safe at all times. I wish we could have had more than 45 minutes at flamenco beach. It was sooo beautiful. Now its only the memories, pictures and the 40 bug bites from Tamarindo beach I have to look back on. Please bring bug spray. You probably need it more than your sun block.

Customer service also great (except for the stressful start, which I'll get to). First of all, Culebra is gorgeous and a "must visit" location on a trip to PR. I purchased this tour for my family to avoid stressing over buying our own ferry tickets, after reading a lot about folks having all sorts of ferry mishaps. The tour took us first to Playa Tamarindo, where we snorkeled with sea turtles grazing in the sea grass and out to the coral reef where we saw lobsters and loads of fish. Due to the choppy/murky water that was out farther, we didn't kayak over to a deeper reef area at Tamarindo, but the guides clearly explained and we understood; the company even refunded us for the kayaking portion of the tour. Possibly due to not kayaking, we had plenty of un-rushed time to snorkel in the one area and also hang at Playa Flamenco, where we went after. Our first bus even had a flat tire and within minutes two vans showed up to drive our tour group. Our two guides answered all our questions and were overall excellent. The company even called the next day to check in with us about the tour, to explain that they'd refund for the kayaking portion, and to ask for feedback. My only complaint, which I shared with them already, was about the start of the tour. We were told to be at the ferry terminal right at 7:30a, which we were, but the tour guide didn't arrive until 8:15a. It was a very stressful 45 minutes thinking our trip wasn't going to happen (we did get through once to the main phone line, around 7:40a, and were told the guide was on his way, but after more time and when the first set of folks started lining up for the ferry we were losing faith). A clearer explanation (we learned later that a third guide was sick) or ETA for the guide on his way would have been all we needed.

Great experience but could do much better!

The tour guide was amazing, he was charismatic, enthusiastic and very knowledgeable. The trip overall was just okay. The worst part was at Culebra beach because of the ONLY food stand at the location. They worked extremely slow and it wasted all of our time needed to enjoy Culebra beach, that was most unsettling of all.

We had a great time snorkeling with sea turtles, seeing different types of corral, and spending some time at the world famous Flamenco Beach.
Thank you to the amazing staff, you made the experience fun and go smoothly (Justin, Marcos, etc.).
A must if you’re vacationing on the eastern part of Puerto Rico!

Monica was the best tour guide! She made the whole experience really fun. We weren’t able to kayak due to high winds, so that was a bit of bummer, but you can’t control Mother Nature! We saw turtles, jellyfish, manta rays, sea urchins, a lot of different fish and many different types of coral! Would 100% do it again!

We perform checks on reviews
You can only submit a review or rating of an experience to Viator if you were the person who made the booking through Viator. Before publication, each review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information for each of the following criteria: who, what, how, and when. If the system detects something that contradicts our publication criteria, the review is not published. When the system detects a problem with a review, it may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site. In some cases, we will also send you an email asking you to validate your review before it is published. All you need to do is click on the link provided in the email. After publication, our team checks each review reported to it as not meeting our publication criteria. Tripadvisor reviews that appear on the Viator site are subject to the same checks and moderation processes as set out above. It is not necessary to have booked an experience through Viator (or Tripadvisor) to submit a review of an experience to the Tripadvisor site.
