The driver and new asst ( first day on job) said nothing to the group about what we were seeing. Worst experience we ever had. Left us with no input what so ever.

The Airwalk and Mt Wellington are highly recommended. However the tour company was terrible - Do Not Use this company. Owner was very rude after we would not join another tour, only two of us booked on tour. We ended up being driven in the car of the owner which was old and uncomfortable. Our driver was no very convenient driving the vehicle and was constantly pulling over on the narrow road up to Mt Wellington - even though there was plenty of room. Our driver was also in quite a bit of pain due to a knee injury and should not have been driving that day. Driver started to give us some information on Hobart but got side tracked easily and awkwardly lurched from one subject to another without making much sense. He forgot some facts and names. He didn't really know what the itinerary was for the day. He also told us that the day before he had got lost and the car broke down - not very positive. Hobart great city and sights were great BUT DO NOT TAKE TOUR WITH THIS COMPANY.

This was a terrible experience. Apparently school started this day so they were short of drivers and pulled someone down from 3 hours away. This driver thought he was guiding one route and a few minites before we left, he was told another route. As a result he was not prepared. Poor planning on the companys part as this driver: did not know how to operate the van, could not operate the AC in the van or the headset. And he got lost taking us to Tahune, costing an hour in the day to backtrack. Because of this we were delayed getting to MT Wellinton and had only 10 minites there. The driver knew we all had a hard stop at 5. We were deposited back at our dock at 5:10. He cut it way too close. At one juncture we asked how long to Mt Wellington and were told 20 minutes. Well that turned into 45 minutes. The driver, who was not familiar with the route, really underestimated travel time. We have contacted the company and asked for a 50 refund. I do not believe this was an isolated incident as the friends we are traveling with took a different tour with this company the same day. Their driver was the owner, and they did not have a positive experience either. Finally, we dont think these two destinations should be combined. There is too much bus time and distance between the two spots.

This tour was cancelled because not enough people had signed up. However we were given the opportunity to do a half day tour and I would rate it a 4 out of 5. The bus was nice, the itinerary was fine and the operator friendly but he could not give much history of the island.

The tour was great the only problem was we should have left an hour earlier as we had to rush the tree top walk as we were rushing to get back to the ship on time. Although we made it it was touch and go so took the pleasure out of the return trip. Driver Wayne was terrific but his mike stopped working so we were unable to get information on the area we were passing through. We were lucky the weather was fine and we had great views from mount Wellington apparently this does not always happen.

Although both Mount Wellington and Tahune Air Walk were nice to visit, they should not be paired together for a 6 hour tour. Too much time spent in the vehicle, compared with time allotted on each site.

Enjoyed the ride up to Mt. Wellington and hearing some of the interesting facts about Hobart and Tasmania. The views were amazing! The ride out to the Tahune Forest and Airwalk was longer than we anticipated, but it was nice scenically, along the river. We enjoyed the airwalk experience, but wish we could have had more time to hike to the suspension bridge before getting in the van for the long drive back to town.
