We should have done this the first day we were on the island. DJ was an excellent guide and we learned so much from a local. We got to see things and Learn about the local customs and the best places to visit. Highly recommend!

My husband and I didn’t really know what to expect going into this tour, and we almost cancelled it because we weren’t sure we wanted to be driven around. Boy, are we glad we went for it! Our guide was kind, informative, fun, flexible, and shared so much information and history about Kauai and all the sights we drove by. Our guide, Simon, assessed our wishes for the tour (based on what we’d already done and planned to do on our visit) and he got a feel for our comfort level with an off-the-beaten-path hike. We were blown away by the hike he took us on. We felt safe, the difficulty level was spot on for what we were prepared for, the trail was virtually free of other hikers and tourists, and we were able to see the most incredible panoramic views of Waimea Canyon - including a handful of cascading waterfalls. We literally felt on top of the world. Highly recommend this catered experience! Our guide even went above and beyond dropping us at a quick taco stand for lunch and squeezing in a stop to see sea turtles before it was over. He also left us with great advice and accurate directions on how to do a hike the next day by ourselves. It also did not disappoint! We felt the value for the experience and time on this private tour far exceeded the cost.

I liked that he did what we were interested in . The hike, beach, waterfalls were out of the way from most tourists.

This is one of the best tours we have been on in a long time. Our tour guide DJ was absolutely wonderful in helping us plan out the day’s tour and hit the spots we wanted to see and suggested many more options as well as other areas of interest to visit on our own time. A very informative and relaxing tour. Our guide Simon was ready willing and able to customize the tour the way we wanted. We had no ideas so he led us on what he thought would be best and we weren’t disappointed. If you want a quick overview of Kauai and a beautiful view of the Waimea Canyon, this is your tour

What a great and informative tour. DJ took us to spots there was no way we would have seen on our own. He was easy to talk with and gave us wonderful suggestions on places to go on our own too. He even gave us suggestions for island snack stops. Because of his suggestions we feel like we got three days of touring for the cost of one. We highly suggest you take this tour like we did at the beginning of your trip so you can see his other wonderful suggestions that we couldn’t fit in with our tour with him.

We had a great day with our guide DJ. He knew a lot about the area, we saw beautiful views, and enjoyed ourselves a great deal.

DJ was amazing! Very informative and professional. We visited a beautiful, remote crescent beach and Waimea canyon on our 5 hour tour. DJ was very patient, waited for the fog to clear so we could have a stunning view of the canyon. Highly recommend!

Our guide Simon, was amazing: knowledgeable, friendly. We took an amazing hike and learned a lot about the history and topography of the island. Honestly, this MADE our trip. Highly recommend; worth every penny.
