The tour was pricey for the experience. The families were sweet. The trip was too commercialized for us.

The families that allowed us access to their home were very hospitable and answered our many questions. I live among the Amish but I have never been their home. It was an interesting experience. I enjoyed the tour. Our guide was knowledgeable. Bonus was the extra cookies we could purchase.

Amish Christmas Cookie Tour

Enjoyed the tour. Only one of the people in the Amish home gave us two full cookie samples. The other two gave us tiny samples. It would be nice to get a full cookie - not a tiny sample. Also one home only gave us 2 cookies for our cookie bag instead of 4. I think we paid enough to get full samples and 4 cookies to take home. We did enjoy the tour though.
