if you want to walk,...

if you want to walk, don't book the "walking guide tour". The trip was ok, but I booked with the walking but the tour the guide only keep us at the "touristic parts" we didn't go to the real walking. But on the other hand, if you want to make the trail by walking you can purchase the cheapest option

This was a great tour. We got all the details of the tour - the bus, the tour guide, etc - the day before. We were picked up from our hotel (Treasure Island) at 6:15. The guide was wonderful. We stopped at a couple interesting places (including the place where we picked lunch). The bus was super comfortable. At the canyon, the guide explained very clearly what to do and the directions for the trail. The south rim provided wonderful views and hikes. The bus started back around 3:15. We stopped for dinner on the way back and saw the hoover dam (from the bus). We reached at our hotel around 8:30. The day was really well spent. We even had time and energy to do more stuff at the strip after coming back. I highly recommend this!

One of the World’s Natural Wonders

I highly recommend the tour of the South Rim of Grand Canyon offered by Grand Canyon Destinations. We went on this tour and we’re glad we did and made the choice not to drive ourselves. First you are transported in a comfortable coach. Our driver Milton did a fantastic job getting us there safely. This company strictly follows regulations keeping you safe while transporting you to one of nature’s true wonders. It’s a magnificent bucket list destination and our tour guide Jaren was an amazing host. He was witty, funny, polite, knowledgable and loves both his work and the company he works for. He was with us for 16 hours and his ability to consistently deliver great service that demonstrated he valued us and wanted each of us to have a memorable tour. Taking this tour saves you money. For us we didn’t have to rent a car, nor buy gas. It saves you stress. Every touch point with the company was well organized and they always got back to us with answers to any questions. The price is very reasonable for what you get.

Good Change of Pace from Vegas
HASHIM_M
, Jun 2022
It was a very educational and organized experience. Good amount of time at the Canyon. Only thing is that it's a very long day, and I would be good without as many stops between Vegas and the Canyon to allow more time there. Lunch was basic, but did the job. Good value for the price, David was a great guide, highly recommend.

A grand experience

The tour guide/presenter Jaren was outstanding. He was the absolute linchpin in the experience with fantastic commentary on history and nature. Jaren was fun too. The coach was comfortable with a good movies selected. Water was offered throughout the experience and the lunch/snacks were good. All in all it was an excellent full day out and it went by really quickly. The time spent seeing the Grand Canyon was really good too. Nothing ever felt a rush.

Amazing views, and trustable transportation
palffyandras
, Jun 2022
Our guide, Jaren was helpful and had a good vibe. The bus trip itself is long, but doable, and the view you get is phenomenal. There is an extra "walking" tour (you actually take the bus between points) for another 20 usd which we didn't take, just wondered around on our own, it was completely ok. It depends, maybe you are less of a walker and then it worth it

A Long Day’s Journey to America’s Natural Wonder
Joe_L
, Jun 2022
Jaren, the tour and walking guide, did great job both on the ride to, and from, the Grand Canyon. He basically managed two different groups of folks, interacting with both, while incorporating history, environmental, and current information regarding this natural wonder. The trip was fairly long but Jaren made it a fun day along with a great learning experience. Well worth the time and expense.
