Ben is a great guide, knowledgeable about plants. He provided interesting facts about plants, city history, the story of Gustav. The walk at dove lake was short, we would like to spend more time there if we could. We were lucky to see wild wombats during our tour. Ben prepared our sandwich lunch. Although the sandwiches were cold, we felt warmly served by Ben as guests. And we still had hot tea and some good cheese. During the forest walk part, we saw big trees and learnt about lumber industry.

Excellent guide with Ben of McDermott’s. He drove with kind consideration in the very winding stretch of road.

Ben was a safe driver and very knowledgeable guide. He spoke with passion about the different locations, people like Gustav W, trees, plants, fauna, etc. His road courtesy is outstanding especially in the winding stretch of road where anyone might be prone to dizziness, and let cars banking up to get ahead of us. Please ensure you provide this feedback to him and his management. This is on behalf of the 7 Crazy Asians. Thank you.

Overall itinary well organised. Travel guide cum driver Ben is friendly n knowledgeable. Although lunch was included but sandwich n wrap was too cold for winter. Consider to provide warm food or alternative salad, fruits because the bread was hard n wrap skin is cold n thick hence is difficult to swallow.

Great Informative Trip

Our driver cum tour guide is very knowledgeable. On board was a lady who was vision impaired. He was very sensitive to her needs. He even asked her to come to touch the plant to have a feel of what it was like. The only regret was it being a cloudy day and drizzling when we arrived at Cradle Mountain. We had to stand in the drizzle and cold to hear the explanations of the flora. Otherwise it would be a great outing and awesome photo taking.
