Visit sharks, penguins and puffins with admission to the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach, and explore 19 wildlife habitats from every corner of the world’s largest ocean. Slip beneath a full-sized model of a blue whale, and catch the eye of a fierce leopard shark. Travel from a Sea of Cortez kelp forest to the ice-crusted waters off Northern Japan; watch sea horses play in a tropical lagoon, pet a shark in a kid-friendly touch tank and listen to the eerie melodies of an undersea whale song. Keeping our guests and staff safe is our top priority. We are limiting the number of visitors, requiring advance timed reservations, and managing traffic flow to ensure social distancing, requiring face coverings and temperature checks, providing numerous hand-sanitizing stations, and much more.

    A:The Aquarium is open every day except Dec. 25th. Hours are 9 am to 6 pm Mon-Thur and 9 am to 8 pm Fri-Sun.

    A:The Aquarium is located half a mile from the Transit Mall in downtown Long Beach which makes for a 10 minute downhill walk to the Aquarium from the Blue line and major bus lines. Alternatively, you may take Long Beach Transit’s FREE Passport bus.

    Took less than five minutes to get into the aquarium, no hassles at all. Purchasing was a breeze! The attractions were nice overall the family enjoyed the visit.

    Terrible. They hardly had any sea animals. It was mainly small fish and nothing interesting. Food was terrible frozen meals deep fried. Employees were also rude and all seemed to be annoyed with their job.

    We got to pet the stingray’s, that was pretty cool! Would have loved to had seen more than one sea otter, but the one that was there was adorable. Great place to visit, lots of fish to see.

    It was very dirty and almost every glass aquarium was really hard to see or even get a good picture. I wouldn’t recommend this if you wanted to go out on a date but I would recommend it for kids or a school field trip

    Aquarium was ok. The “skip the line” feature advertised here is not what it seems. You skip the ticketing line but still have to wait in a huge line to get in - half of these people are waiting for the ticket line inside.

    We loved the many kinds and sizes of rays and hands-on experiences. The many sizes and displays of jellyfish were beautiful. We had a nice time.
