This is a great tour to introduce you to the many neighborhoods of Nashville. Our tour guide told lots of great stories while showing us the homes of the stars (past and present). I highly recommend this tour.

Very disappointing tour

Well you’re told you’re going to get a tour of famous peoples homes and it’s not really that it’s all people that write the songs and none of the famous people now really Or a lot of people that are already dead and gone somebody else lives in the house now used to be somebody’s house of all the old singers and other things like the AFLAC guys house it’s not what you think like famous singers homes now. Very dissatisfied

Our driver, Terry, was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and great personality. I vote the tour goes back to 3.5 hours to be able to see a few more special homes such as Dollys.

Lee was our tour guide. He did an amazing job explaining Nashville history beyond just the stars. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with him.

Our guide knew all the history of old Nashville, and stars. The tour would not be enjoyed by people under 50. Too much history that’s not attention keeping.

Disappointed in the so called stars homes
Lisa_C
, Feb 2022
Was disappointed because most of the “stars” homes we were shown were not anyone we had ever heard of or cared to see. Our driver was a super nice man but I think he was even bored with telling the same boring story about these homes. Everyone at the facility was super nice and helpful and I would give them 5 stars alone. I just wish the tour was updated with actual stars homes. I think a brochure telling about the homes would be nice but I’m sure they don’t want anyone to see the “stars” they have on the tour. I recommend getting some actual stars of all music genres and include them on your tour.

Seeing the beautiful homes and hearing the history of Nashville, not only did we learn about the stars but we learned so much about the town itself

Waste of and time

When it ended. The trip was boring and saw mostly dead people’s homes from years ago. Drivers jokes/information are for people 60+ This is not really a tour of stars homes. Expensive for what it was

Not great and expensive

Tour was not great and not worth the money spent. A lot of old celebrities that we didn’t know, a lot of ‘so and so used to live here’, we aren’t allowed to go down that road anymore to show you that house, and here is the driveway but you can’t see the house.

Fly by the seat of your pants

After reading a lot of negative reviews, my love of architecture and a 2-hour ride around town convinced me otherwise. The riverfront train station was easily accessible at the end of Broadway, and while it was obvious a security guard was needed, he could use some tips on how to be courteous. I had read to sit on the right side of the bus, but wished I had sat on the left, which would have provided a clear view of the First Lady of country music’s home. The driver tried to engage and be funny, but his narrative of civil war history, new money vs old money, and a long list of big names who call Nashville home was boring and maybe Christmas music would have been better. Except Tammy Wynette & Reese Witherspoon, we saw homes of stars I have never heard of and none of those listed on the website. He flew by some of the most beautiful gigantic ones, but drove slowly by old small fenced ones. We went to Brentwood & Bell Meade, were close to Cheekwood, and it was a nice way to get familiar with the area.

Not worth the price
Bridgett_S
, Dec 2021
Not alot. But tour guide was difficult to understand. This was nothing more than a glorified bus tour around the city we were expecting to see celebrities homes and hear more about that but instead it was mostly a tour about history with very quick stops or drive-bys of a very few select country homes. Tour guide wasn’t clear about which homes were which would just say on the right and drive by before we could even stop to see what the home was very disappointed.

Fun Tour
Cindy_P
, Dec 2021
It was very informative, and fun to see that the celebrities drive the same vehicles we do, and decorate for Christmas the same as we do. It was nice to see the beautiful properties and hear some inside scoop about Nashville. The tour guide knew his stuff, (though may have been a little outdated on some info.)

Misleading

The tour was only places were celebrities used to live. Our driver did not know how to use the brakes smoothly. Jerked our heads the whole tow hours. The houses were too spaced out and too much driving around. It needs to be labeled houses were celebrities used to live. We did get to see Taylor Swifts mom house and the drive way of Tim McGraw.

The driver spoke in a monotone script not engaging at all. Saw nothing but where people “used to live”
