Dolphins and You

Absolutely one of the best days on the island. We got to see the dolphins swimming 2 feet below us and you can hear their clicks that they do. We went to another spot and was able to see 3 turtles just swimming so gracefully. Then the boat crew threw out the slide and we were able to slide off the boat into the water. Last but not least, the camera girl was at every spot of the way taking video and pictures of our whole excursion and because of that, we bout the package along with it for keep sake. A must to do without a doubt.

Wished there were more details on this trip so that I could have been warned and not signed up for this

I made sure I would be safe in this trip as I can't swim well. So when I got the life jackets, I didn't expect expect it to be so light and not as supportive as I wished they were..I also didnt expect to swim SO FAR(and for others) 3 attempts, and never got to actually swim with the dolphins. When it came to snorkeling with turtles, I didn't even get to see any turtles. So tht was disappointing... the water was defintly alot more calmer but not one turtle was spotted. The crew were really nice. They were amazing. They did a good job.... but grouped with 50 to 70 people and rushing to explore is bit hard to enjoy.. I wouldn't do it again. Sorry.

Aloha Jane-Doe, We're so happy that you thought our crew was amazing and did a good job. We are sorry to hear that you did not feel adequately prepared for the amount of swimming and snorkeling on our tour. We include a disclaimer for all who book with us directly with the following information: "We recommend some prior swimming and/or snorkeling experience for the most enjoyable encounter in the ocean, but guests of all swimming levels are welcome." We also understand that it can be disappointing not to see the sea turtles, but this is the nature of interacting with animals in their natural environment. We will pass onto our management your thoughts on the size of the group. Since you found our crew amazing, we would greatly appreciate it if you would consider bumping us one more star to reflect what was within our control. Mahalo and safe travels!

Disappointing

Too large of a group for what the guides wanted to accomplish. We did two swims and saw nothing and then when we did see dolphins they didn’t let us get in the water and claimed the conditions were unsafe because of the wind. Honestly the water looked the same as from the first two swims. Time was limited too I only went down the slide once. They need smaller groups and should let the advance swimmers swim. They also didn’t take us to any reefs to snorkel! My friend and I expected more.

Aloha Leonardo, We are sorry to hear you had the rare experience of not seeing dolphins on our tour. We understand that this can be disappointing. We ask all of our guests to understand that this is a possibility, though it is rare because we operate our tours at the mercy of nature. While on the tour, the safety of everyone on board is our top priority. The water may have looked the same as the first two swims, but our crew is trained to recognize conditions that are hard to spot, such as strong currents or dangerous marine life. We never want to have to make that call, but please know we do it in the interest of safety. We will pass on your feedback to our operations team that you felt like there was not enough time on the slide on the day of your tour. We hope to have you on board again someday to get the full experience with ideal conditions and plentiful dolphins. Mahalo and safe travels!
