Your Mad Desert Trekking guide will meet you at Starbucks, 3165 E. Lincoln Drive, Phoenix, near the trailhead to the Phoenix Mountains Preserve. Please use the parking lot to the west. Uber and Lyft offer convenient drop-off service at the Starbucks.

This activity will end right where it started.

Jennifer, our guide, was knowledgable, entertaining and focused on our safety throughout the hike. The views of Phoenix at sunrise from the mountain top were beautiful. Strongly recommend, but make sure you wear good hiking shoes.

My adult son and I had an AMAZING sunset hike with guide Matt. He was so knowledgeable with pointing out various things along the way. He was patient and engaged throughout the entire hike. The views were stunning and the hike itself was very manageable. This adventure is highly recommended and a must-see thing to do when visiting Phoenix.
