Returns to original departure point
Start your day with an optional pickup from hotels in San Juan, or make your own way to the marina in Fajardo. As your catamaran pulls up anchor and heads into the cerulean seas, check out great views of the coastline’s beaches, plus scenic vistas of nearby El Yunque National Forest. Don’t forget to enjoy a piña colada, rum punch, soda or juice from the bar on the way.

Your catamaran arrives at Icacos Cay, part of a chain of 10 small islands that comprise La Cordillera Keys Nature Reserve. If weather conditions require, your captain may navigate instead to the equally stunning island of Palominitos. Then hop in the water for some aquatic activities, including snorkeling on the nearby reef, swimming or beachcombing on the shore of this placid paradise.

When you start to get hungry around midday, head back to the boat for a buffet spread. Build a sandwich from the included array of fresh-baked bread (pan de agua), sliced meats including turkey, ham, pastrami and salami, sliced cheeses, lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles. Make sure to also grab some sides, including gourmet pasta salad, chicken salad, coleslaw, bean dip, chips, cookies, and fresh fruit.

Following lunch, your catamaran heads to another reef for more snorkeling or sunbathing. While underwater, keep your eyes peeled for reef creatures including colorful fish and the occasional octopus or manta ray. Or stay dry on the deck, where you can gaze at the sea life through glass windows or shoot down the boat’s built-in waterslide.

Your relaxing sailing day finishes with a return cruise back to the harbor, where you can find your optional hotel transportation back to San Juan.

Fun trip

Crew was great, boat was clean and in good condition, secluded islands were beautiful, food was pretty good. There was a snafu on the return bus trip when we waited over 30 minutes for a couple who didn't return; the bus driver eventually found them taking showers in the marina. There should be better communication about going directly to the bus after docking. Otherwise it was great.

Take it or Leave it.

The crew was amazing. It was the water that didn’t like it! It was so choppy. I don’t recommend this if you get motion sickness very easily like me.

Do not book
, Dec 2021
Hi! Myself and friends were very excited for this trip until we arrived and found out that we would not be snorkeling or going to any beaches. We spoke with the tour operator and she said she notified us that we would no longer be doing the activities of the excursion but the information was false. We ended up having to pay for a taxi back to our resort and the company was not helpful at all and put a group of girls in a very dangerous situation.
