I knew the best way to admire the city from the beginning of our family trip was to learn about its history. We were so lucky to have Jacques as our guide. The way he expressed himself I could tell he was proud to be from Quebec. Every turn we made was a beautiful building, street, and church. There was always more to see just around the corner. Like where Leonardo Dicaprio filmed one of his movies. Jacques answered all our questions about the city, including restaurant recommendations for a typical French dish. I also have so many great pictures to share with my friends and family! I was the one to ask for a restroom break. Lol! He quickly guided us to the nearest one restroom. Thanks for that Jacques. Well, even though we got to understand the city a little more we would definitely do it all over again. There is much more to explore. My vacation is now over but I will start to plan my next trip to Quebec for the summertime.

Guide was very knowledgeable and passionate about Quebec city and its history. Very interesting tour and old Quebec city is beautiful. If doing a winter tour dress warmly. Be prepared to walk as this tour covers a lot of distance and up/down hills.

Wonderful walking tour of the highlights of Quebec City. Our guide, Jacques, was extremely knowledgeable about the city’s history and his style is very engaging. He also answered all of my questions about the practicalities of life in the city and inquiries about life in Canada. At the start of our tour Jacques noticed my fear of the slush covered paths and offered suggestions to get better traction. He was also very aware of my fear and warned us about places where the walkways were slippery. I would highly recommend this private tour and you will be lucky if you get Jacques as your guide.
