It was a bust. Cloudy and no northern lights. Boat trip was good. Said we could try again at no cost but weather did not cooperate.

Great times seeing the lights!
, Oct 2021
We saw the Northern Lights! It had been a very rainy and cloudy day, so we were a little nervous, but were reassured that should we *not* see them, we could come back another night. Leaving the harbor, we made friends with other tour goers, and our excellent guide Iga kept us all entertained with facts and stories about the Northern Lights as we sailed out into the darkness. It took a few hours, but the sky began to clear and we were able to see stars. Right around the time it was to turn around to return to port--we saw the lights! Our captain and crew then gave us more time out at sea to capture pictures and view the lights as the grew across the sky. We were so appreciative of Iga and her crew's willingness to extend our time so we could enjoy this phenomenon!

A fantastic trip. We were incredibly lucky to see the northern lights very quickly and dancing around the sky. Both guides were brilliant, entertaining and knowledgeable. It does get pretty cold at night time but they provide warm suits for everyone onboard.
Appreciated the Staff Staying Longer

We were pretty sure that we weren’t going to see anything that night with the cloud cover. However, close to midnight the clouds finally moved on and we were able to see the green tint in the sky. Appreciated what the staff did in staying later and the information they gave on shooting photos to capture the lights. :)

Bucket List Experience!
, Sep 2021
My spouse and I were so excited to actually see an incredible show of the Northern Lights. Our guide hustled us all to the top deck and the “show” started! We had a fabulous, but very cold night! The polar suits kept us warm as possible, check your zipper though! Mine didn’t close and I was too lazy to find another suit! We were out for about 2 hours and a good 1 1/2 hours of that was the lights.
Great experience

The narrator was great. Easy to understand. Cared about us knowing about northern lights. It was a great experience.

No Northern Lights, which was not the fault of the operator. However, I felt the MC was not being honest. I saw him "take" a picture in the opposite direction of where he said the lights would appear and then show that picture to everyone stating that he had caught the lights on camera. We all understood that it was cloudy and we probably would not see them, no need to make up a "sighting".

Mother Nature’s spectacular show
, Feb 2020
Because of unforeseen circumstances due to the weather. Our sightseeing cruise got postponed twice. Katie was kind enough to call me ahead of time so we didn’t have to go to Reykjavik for nothing. In our 3rd night, we finally got to sail and towards the end of our cruise mother nature showed us the spectacular show we will never forget. During the cruise itself, the staff were very helpful in giving us tips on how to capture the Northern lights on our cameras.
