Fantastic Tour Guide

The most memorable part was our tour guide singing a traditional Puritan hymn in the graveyard and the overall experience with his factual depiction sprinkled with appropriate humor and interest. He was really fantastic. You can tell he really enjoys his job.

Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and genuine. He has studied the history of this amazing town and it shows. I loved the fact that we had a small group. I highly recommend this tour!

My tours are sometimes truly small group tours and sometimes just smaller than what is permitted by the chief of police. Thank you, Kenneth Glover

A Phenomenal Tour!

What’s the key to understanding mysterious Salem, Massachusetts? Is it all spooks and Harry Potter wannabes? By walking in the footsteps of its early settlers and hearing their stories, the past becomes much more understandable. Our tour guide, Kenneth, is a historian & a master story-teller. He. brought the past alive with not only interesting facts, but songs & memorabilia as well. Plus, he is an all-around nice fellow, who showed generous hospitality & concern for our group throughout our 2.5 hour walking tour. We went two days before Halloween, and the town was packed. Kenneth managed to take us to places that he (as an insider) knew would be interesting & a little away from the crowds. He’s the best. His tour was awesome!!!

Im glad you enjoyed Salem as much as I do! The best time of year to visit Salem is May through September. October is essentially the transition into winter for New England but is still lots of fun with the massive crowds of month long costumed party goers. I’m enjoying Halloween day off in costume. My best, Kenneth Glover

Ken was absolutely fantastic! My fiancee and I took a day trip to Salem to explore and learn the history if Salem, and we were so glad we chose this tour! Ken not only tells great stories of the famous witch trials, but brings you through the rich history of Salem beyond the trials. Ken was so friendly and even brought snacks for all on the tour (for no additional cost!). Could not recommend this tour enough!
icon Response from Host , Nov 2021
The snacks were a new idea I began to implement this October out of necessity on days where high demand made the simplest purchases of food impossible for my guests and I. I want my guests upright and alert on my tours. In gratitude, Kenneth

Memorable tour and Ken is a wonderful storyteller and great tour guide

Ken was a wonderful tour guide and made our 1st visit to Salem, MA very special. My wife and I are history buffs and Ken has a wealth of knowledge about the history of Salem and the surrounding area. He has a gift for storytelling and we thoroughly enjoyed the many stories he shared with our group about Salem. Lastly, Ken is a very thoughtful guy who made my wife’s day very special by surprising her with flowers since we were celebrating a birthday milestone for her. I would take his tour in a heartbeat again! Ken, keep being you and thank you for making our visit to Salem so memorable! Erold & Bridget.

Erold and Bridget, Wards florist provides me with the the most beautifully arranged flowers and a cheerful visit each morning, sometimes even for very special occasions such as this. Very best wishes! Kenneth Glover.

Entertaining October day in Salem

, Oct 2021
Kenneth is the best guide and story teller! Wear good walking shoes because the tour covers a lot of ground - had 10,000 steps for the full day in Salem. We enjoyed that the tour covered the history of Salem in addition to the witch trials. Our guide was very aware of the crowds and kept our group moving. When we stopped, he found places where he could be heard easily.

Great advice on shoes. I walked 14 miles on the first day of my last holiday. Walking tour people are an active set, if you want to be one like Elizabeth or I you need proper shoes. My choice are orthopedically supportive sandals and super cushiony socks. In gratitude, Kenneth
