Full Day of Adventure

You MUST do this! The tour guides are wonderful (I'm awful at names... apologies!). I consider myself active and fit, and used to be quite a hiker. This was definitely beyond any hike I've ever been on. LOL. You'll need to use your hands quite a bit when heading uphill. And may need to hang onto a branch or just sit down at some points heading downhill. The guides will tell you exactly where/how to step to try to ensure you don't slip on the rocks as much. Guides will have fruit for you to enjoy at one of the waterfalls and have a cooler of beer and water back at the van. 2 rock waterslides, cliff jumping and a rope swing took the adventure to another level. Loved it! Most of us left our backpacks, phones, etc on the bus. A few people took their phones in waterproof cases :). Whatever you take with you is getting 100% drenched. You'll bid farewell to the rainforest guides and the driver will take you to a local restaurant. After a couple hours, you'll head to Laguna Grande and meet those guides - who are also super fun! Detailed instructions were given, then we followed them through a channel that opens up to the gorgeous bay. You'll get a brief explanation on things you may spot in the bay, as well as a bit of an astronomy lesson (lots of stars and a couple planets visible). We were given a little free time, before heading back through the channel. Granola bars and water were waiting for us. Both tour guide crews snapped photos of all these adventures and were super personable! Will definitely recommend this combo to anyone visiting Puerto Rico.

Day in El yunque and bioluminescence
Kadidia_D
, Apr 2021
It was different experiences ; from the hikking, swimming in natural pool and the night kayaking to see the bioluminescence. The waterfalls were beautiful and you can jump from the rocks if you want to. It was a long day, so make sure to eat well before going. The bioluminescence is beautiful, it is strange and beautiful lol. So the price definatly worth it.

Since the members of my group was not physically fit I was a little concerned but we pulled it off. It was so much fun. Be aware that you may come home with some battle scars but it us all in the fun of the hike.

Awesome tour! Loved our fantastic guide Gimme! We definitely would recommend this tour to friends and family. One thing we would add to the what to bring list is to pack a pair of sandles or flip flops if you don't want to be in wet squishy shoes for the 2nd part of the tour- dinner then kayaking ;)
