Couldn't have asked for more

Jojo was a fantastic, knowledgeable, friendly guide. We are in a girls trip here with 8 women with different needs and stuff. And this tour was perfect for us, since we weren't looking for extreme hiking activity. Visiting OSJ in the early morning was perfect when no one is there. Jojo took us to some of the iconic places in OSJ to take pictures. El Yunque was great. Playa Luquillo was very relaxing and a perfect place to buy souvenirs and drinks. We ended up having lunch here. Jojo picked a perfect restaurants where we had fresh fish, local food, and the vibe was just fantastic.

It wasn’t an Instagram tour. It was a Muddy tour

shout out to Miguel, Evelyne and, Bevo We had such a great time. I can still remember Evelyne our tour guide telling us to embrace the MUD. It gets super muddy and no one told us that do not break nice shoes or you sill have to trash them. Bevo was our tour guide as well and life guard haha as my friend and I didn’t know how to swim he was always there t assist us and waiting for us already in the river before we come down the water. You will enjoy the forest tour not the Instagram one because they cancelled on us the day before and the manager couldn’t help of it wasn’t for One of the driver.

Worth it! Great tour!

This trip is great to capture beautiful photos and learn some history of the island, Gian was my tour guide and he was amazing! He is very well informed of the history and Puerto Rican culture so you can ask him anything, you can tell how passionate he is about the island. He picked me up from the hotel and from there we went to Old San Juan for about an hour then we headed to the rainforest. My group was small 7 people which made things a lot easier. This hike was a HIKE so be prepared! I mean you’re walking through rivers, climbing rocks, it gets super muddy, you’re holding onto branches, on all 4s but the views were worth it, the rivers were beautiful and you get to go for a swim with life jackets and the water felt amazing. Also you can only take your phone, medication, water and a light snack with you trust me that’s all you need you do not want to take anything unnecessary if you don’t want it to get wet or dirty. Then from there we went to Luquillo beach and kiosks where you can try a variety of yummy foods and drinks that you pay for and then go to the beach and relax, water was calm clear and lovely. Then lastly he dropped us back off at our locations. I really loved this tour it is totally worth it. Gian was great, I felt 100% comfortable and safe with him he taught us a lot and helped us if we needed it throughout the hike.

Gian was the most amazing tour guide and very very knowledgeable. Best excursion experience we have ever had traveling anywhere and we travel a lot! Absolutely worth every penny, we can’t believe it was actually priced at what it was for all that it included!

My tour was canceled less than an hour before the tour was scheduled to begin. There was no courtesy call or text informing of the cancellation! We stood in front of our pick up hotel for 20 minutes

Not worth the price.

I don’t think the trip was worth the money we paid. The beach we went to was dirty and the food could’ve been better. The walking tour was okay. And the water spot was underwhelming.

Very confusing to deal with the operator
CathyC
, Jul 2021
This might be a good trip but I got so little information in advance I was not even sure where to meet the operator. I sent several messages that went unanswered. They were finally texting me after 8 pm for a trip that was scheduled for 630 am the next day.I felt uneasy about their ability to give me a good experience so I skipped going. Their policy also is no refund for any reason. But better safe…

Prepare for a hike!
Joy_S

So, this is billed as the "Instagram tour" of Old San Juan, El Yunuque and the beach. We absolutely hit the major sites around Old San Juan... the fortresses, umbrella alley, churches etc. As expected. We got to Luquillo and did the kiosks for great food and booze. The beach itself was a 6/10 : the beach was long weekend crowded, the sand had a bit of trash in it and the water wasn't very clear but it was enjoyable. Both experiences had lots of Instagram worthy sights and opportunities. I was advised to have a change of clothing and shoes I wouldn't mind getting wet...sneakers preferred. I surmised correctly that this was for the rain forest. Bruh. We were in for a HIKE! It's a rain forest...I expected some muddy paths and a few bugs. I didn't expect to have to hold on to tree roots, wade through shallow parts of a river and squelch my way through mud covered, rock trails to the fun surprise in the middle of El Yunque. People need to be better prepared for this part of the day. Gianni/John/Johnny was fun, funny, knowledgeable and extremely helpful the entire tour. He was vitally important during the hike (which he did in sandals by the way). Great driver. He made excellent recommendations for places to eat and drink. He timed things perfectly and kept the group together. Give that guy a raise!

Would not chance it

Absolutely horrible! Would give no stars but it won’t let me. Booked it months ago, thought everything was set. Week prior tried contacting them to set pick up and was told they do not pick up to meet at the Port. Day off, they were not in weight, called them (2 different numbers) and phones were disconnected, no way AT ALL to reach them, waited 45mins at supposed set pick up destination and no one ever showed nor called. To me experience this was a complete scam!!!

Most underrated tour, highly recommend!

Probably the most underrated tour I saw while planning our girls trip to Puerto Rico. It's SO much more than expected. First of all, this tour lasted about 13 hrs from pickup to drop off and was worth every min. Our tour guide Alex/Brian, we still don't know what his real name was, was sweet, educational, accommodating and just had the best disposition for the job. We started off going to El Yunque for a moderate but short hike where our guide led us to a beautiful clear river and allowed us to soak for about an 45 mins. People were jumping off cliffs and rope swing and everyone was just having a great time! At this point we had an option to continue to hangout or go off to the water slide. I opted to stay behind but my friend went to the slide and really enjoyed it. The trek up is climbing is more challenging and steep. Remember you have to come back down the same way so if height, altitude or rough terrain aren't for you skip this portion. Total time at El Yunque was about 3 hours. We then headed to Loquillo Beach where we ate, shopped and took in the vast beauty at the beach. We went on Memorial Day so it was over packed with locals but that didn't bother us, afterall restrictions has just been lifted. It was just as beautiful to see all the families enjoying the day and each other. Finally we headed down to Old San Juan where we made a few stops at some of the most iconic spots for our photo ops. All in all, it was just a fantastic day and we really enjoyed all the company along the way. The whole group was fun.

Bring your walking shoes, you’re in for a treat!

Hector is the perfect tour guide. Put on your walking shoes because this tour is extensive! We started in old San Juan & moved to la perks overlooking the water. We stopped for gelato then headed up the mountains to the forest! Once there we took a 15 minute hike climbing up & down rocks & hills until we ended at a beautiful waterfall in el yunque. 100/100 would definitely recommend if you enjoy nature/outdoor excursions

Incredible experience! We visited key spots in San Juan for beautiful photo ops. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable of the trails in El Yunque and made sure everyone had an amazing and safe experience. His insider knowledge was super helpful and informative. The beach in Luquillo was beautiful and his restaurant recommendations were on point.

Overall it was a really fun day! We were picked up from the hotel entrance early. We were asked to be there at 6:30am but eventually were picked up at 7:15ish. We had another stop for more people and then went to old San Juan for a few stops to take photos. It was early and weather wasn’t that hot so that was great. We than went back on the van for a 40 minutes ride to the rainforest. We had a stop an the way at a local supermarket to use the restroom, change cloths if needed and buy food and water. Then it was time to hike! We especially enjoyed the muddy walk and the cool water at the waterfall. Some people jumped from the cliff but we did not. I kind of regret not doing it... (we went to Walmart the day before and bought cheap tennis shoes which were left at the hotel at the end. So glad we did because the mud was at ankle height and the hike was slippery due to rain the day before). The last stop at the beach was a little too long for us (3 hours). I’d rather have more stops at old San Juan instead. Overall a fun day I had with my teenager girl. Tour guides were so nice, energetic and fun!
