Meet the guide and the rest of the small-group at 12th and Independence Ave. SW, the Smithsonian Metro Stop at the base of the Department of Agriculture Building. Then climb aboard a nifty eCruiser vehicle — an open-air, eco-friendly electric cart that offers as much in style as it does with substance.

See the Washington Monument lit up for the evening; the Thomas Jefferson and Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorials, illuminated by indirect lighting from the Tidal Basin; the Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial, featuring cascading waterfalls and scenic sculptures; and the National World War I and World War II Memorials, with a spectacular fountain display.

There’s also the Lincoln Memorial, the Korean War Veterans Memorial, the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, the White House, Capitol Hill and the world-famous dome of the United States Capitol, plus the United States Supreme Court Building and the Library of Congress. Along the way, hear the historic stories and facts that make the city of Washington, DC one of the most popular tourist destinations in the United States.

Excellent experience. Despite it being very cold in late November, we had a great time seeing the monuments at night. Tour guide was friendly, funny, and knowledgeable with a passion for history.

Loved seeing Lincoln lit up at night. FDR was a great walk thru. Even a roof top rooster was something you would not see in daylight.

Inaccurate data
Laurel_M
, Nov 2021
Good tour layout and timing but the guide interjected his political ideology on multiple occasions. Some of the facts given were inaccurate, such as ‘The height of the Washington Monument is 565 feet and is 585 stories tall.’ ‘The Smithsonian consist of 19 museums which includes the National Zoo’. The zoo makes 20. No mention of the two planned zoos. When you hire comply you, they should know about their subject matter.

It was a really convenient way to see the monuments at night. Our guide was sweet, but lackluster; I was glad I had taken another tour beforehand and had more info…had I just relied on him I wouldn’t have learned much of anything.

We really enjoyed our tour! The weather was beautiful and this was a nice way to see the monuments and memorials. Our tour guide Sam R. was amazing! Very informative and fun. Would highly recommend seeing the sights this way vs. getting on a big tour bus.
